Festiva Orlando Resort

Checking out Festiva in Orlando !!

How should we begin !!

Lets start with we stayed in a one bedroom suite which is bigger than the traditional one bedroom which was adequate for my wife and I .

My son came down for a couple of days and the couch was a pull out so it slept four comfortably.

The place is SLOWLY being renovated as it is QUITE outdated.

Pool area was nice especially for young family and kids and better than I anticipated. Staff overall were pleasant and helpful despite resort conditions so no issues there.

NOTHING for adults to do as there is no restaurant or bar on Resort to hang out in.

When you drive up the road to the resort you pass all these inviting Resort fronts and then you come across Festiva.

At first driving up we thought it was a row of outhouses on road but as it turned out it was the entrance to Festiva, old teal painted walls and columns which we thought were out houses from a distance. So the deal is what you pay for is what you get.

Not sure what resort is charging non-owners so depending on what you pay is whether it is worth the visit.

Great for young families with kids but not anyone else.

The traffic in the area is out of control so plan accordingly wherever you’re going as it is close to all the Disney Parks.

Also, beware that you might have to do a tour to try and get you to buy which I couldn’t imagine anyone wanting to buy into this property as it is NOW !!

We just slept there and used as a base as we went to both coasts to check out the beaches, Disney Springs was fun for some nightlife.

Our room was clean and everything worked, however, the TV was only a 19″ which I didn’t even know they still made them that small and cable was spotty.

Last but not least watch out for the Raccoons and Feral cats at night as they like to hang out in your stairwells which we found out as we bumped into one.

They also like to leave there personal deposits on the stairs as well so WATCH YOUR STEP !!!
