Amazing stay at the Teton Village
We surprisingly found we an Oct date last week that exchanged through a timeshare.
This is a top rated beautiful private club that has only around 30 units, all 2 & 3 bedroom.
The staff goes above & beyond to be friendly & helpful. The 3 bdrm we had was perfectly furnished, had a beautiful mountain view, with very comfortable beds and 3 bathrooms. We would go again if we can ever exchange again. These rooms start at over $500 a night online.
We found this Oct date & a Nov date, before the ski seasons starts at Thanksgiving. The weather that week was perfect with sunny skies & 50s. Loved the gas fireplace in our unit Our only disappointment was the hot tubs were outside & had leaves blown in them, so we didn’t use. But a beautiful patio area and series of hot tubs available. We had looked forward to taking a Tram up the mtn for views but these shut down early Oct. We took day trips around Grand Teton National Park and also Yellowstone Park. Jackson is ~10 miles away for any activity & numerous shopping & restaurant opportunities. There is no restaurant onsite, but does have a nice bar, without any food. There is a very close restaurant at another hotel on the same street.
Nice Stay
We are currently staying at the Teton Club for a little over a week in a two bedroom apartment (205).
PROS: The apartment is very comfortable and well-appointed with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, living room and dining area. It also has very spacious closets as well as an entry area with plenty of room for storing gear. All staff have been very helpful and the maid service is excellent. If you want to stay in Teton Village, Teton Club is a very nice option for a fraction of the cost of the Four Seasons.
CONS: Not all bedrooms inside the apartments are equally spacious and comfortable. (You can see the layout on [-]). In our 2 bedroom apartment, for example, the master bedroom was spacious with luxurious linens, a safe, a writing table, and a large bathroom. The second bedroom is tiny and although the closet is large, the linens are downscaled and the bed is two singles pushed together. (Also, in case this applies to you, a crib just fits in there with little room for movement.)
There is currently only one parking space available for each apartment at the Teton Club. I’m not sure if this is true year-round but it was true this visit because the hotel was full. The parking lot is close, however.
On Teton Village:
If you haven’t stayed in Teton Village before, note that there is a great shopping center nearby that has a fitness facility with a pool, a great upscale grocery store, a Japanese restaurant and even a Starbucks. You don’t have to go to Jackson for everything and there have been days where we haven’t gone at all.
Teton Village is currently undergoing quite a bit of construction, both on the main highway and inside the village area. Although we were a bit delayed driving in and out of the village at times, we were not disturbed by any construction noise at Teton Club. I would be wary of staying at the Best Western and next door hotels, however. There is construction on both sides of the BW hotel and it’s still open. Overall, the construction is dusty but not a nuisance and I wouldn’t let it deter you from staying in the Village.
Very Nice Stay
We stayed at the Teton Club for one week the beginning of September.
The location is perfect for us as it is close enough to GTNP and the south side of Yellowstone.
Every day was a new adventure.
We also took a drive to Dubois and Pinedale.
The room was great and had every amenity we could need for fixing breakfast and dinner each day.
The concierge staff was very welcoming and provided information on the area and where to go next. We will definitely return again.
Best Place to Stay in Jackson Hole
The Teton Club is gorgeous.
Our 2 bedroom condo was perfect in every way! Spacious, well appointed, large rooms (huge master bath) and super comfy beds made our stay the ultimate in elegant comfort.
The condos have balconies which are lovely for sitting out with morning coffee watching the mountain wake up, and evening cocktails. The Teton Club is situated in an ideal location right at the base of the gondola and close to the tram.
There are many restaurants within easy walking distance. Lots to do right there ~ symphony, mountain biking via lift, hiking, gondola (free after 4:00 pm) to Piste restaurant and hiking trails , horseback riding, golf, wildlife sightings, ropes course, bungee jumping, paragliding, rope course, disc golf etc. They even have summer outdoor concerts on certain evenings right next to the club at a lovely natural amphitheatre.
However, the days we left the resort to experience all the area has to offer the wonderful staff/concierge took care of everything for us, and were very knowledgeable about the best agencies to book with.
Highly recommend Mad River Whitewater, rodeo in town of Jackson, Heart 6 Dude Ranch, hiking and sightseeing in Grand Teton National Park. Jump off the rock at Phelps Lake ~ very cool.
At the end of the day, relax in one of their private, beautifully landscaped, multi level rock formation outdoor whirlpool spas. Or visit their full service spa. Amazing stay! Brad Iverson of Luxury Mountain Destinations is terrific. Accurate description, smooth process, professional. Absolutely seamless, excellent experience.
Elegance on the Mountain!!

Fantastic location; fantastic hotel!
I just got back from a week at the Teton Club and what an amazing stay! This is the down season and there were not many guests. But this is an amazing time to visit the Tetons. First the Teton Club lives up to its well-deserved reputation. We had a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom unit on the 3rd floor and the accommodations were excellent. Despite that, we spent as little time there as possible and spent as much time as possible viewing the scenery and abundant wildlife.
The Moose-Wilson road between Teton Village and Moose had just opened and the wildlife along that road was great – moose, elk, fox, great horned owl, … One day on the way back to the hotel I decided to drive up behind the village and we were rewarded with a moose eating leaves in the front yard of someone’s house. We went back the next day and were rewarded again!
Grand Teton National Park is a fabulous place. The mountains are spectacular and we were very lucky with the weather – despite a gloomy forecast. We took a long drive up to West Yellowstone and into the park and then on May 13 the South entrance to Yellowstone opened and we were one of the first cars through.
What a great week to spend in the Tetons and Yellowstone and what a fantastic hotel to come back to each night!
Bordering on Perfection!
We are not owners at this fractional-ownership, private residence club. But we sure wish we were! We stayed for one week this summer, and could have easily spent a second week. We could have booked our vacation stay directly with the Teton Club; instead, we booked through lasthoorah.com, which specializes in luxury vacation rentals, because we got a better rate on the two bedroom, two bath unit. Tim, of last hoorah, was easy to work with and included a few perks with our stay, such as a spa discount and tram tickets. He’s also a concierge for the area and gave us tons of information on restaurants and activities.
Suite 308 was perfect for our family of five (myself, my husband, our two kids ages 12 and 10, and my mother). Our room had a balcony that fit four plastic Adirondack chairs and a small table. The evergreen and Aspen trees provided a small measure of privacy, and we had a great view of the mountain. We could also look down onto the hot tubs and the patio off the great room. There are four hot tubs, each mostly hidden from view by those on the ground by pretty plantings and landscaping. The kids loved the hot tubs and we never saw anyone else in them for the duration of our stay. The gym is small and adequate.
The unit was beautifully decorated with quality furnishings that matched the mountain setting. It was very hot and humid for part of our stay, and the ac had a difficult time cooling the unit. Ceiling fans would have been appreciated. On the cooler days, the kids loved using the gas fireplace by which they played the board games borrowed from the lobby.
The master bedroom was nicely sized, as was the master bath. The bed and linens provided a great night’s rest. The second bedroom could be configured with a king bed or two twins. Both bedrooms had televisions on which you could watch your own Netflix account. Each bedroom also had a large closet with plenty of room to store luggage. The living room sofa opened into a bed- this unit slept 6. My son reported that couch was comfortable to sleep on. This property is built soundly; we never heard noise from adjacent rooms and the hallways were quiet, as well.
This unit was nearly perfect. There were a few stains on the master bedroom rug and a light bulb or two needed replacing. Other than that, we didn’t notice any imperfections. The washer/dryer unit was very clean and worked well, and the daily maid service was excellent. It was so cozy and lovely it felt like home.
The open kitchen/dining/living space was comfortably upscale and spacious, and the gourmet galley kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. It’s stocked with everything you need to create a meal. I recommend picking up whatever staples you’d like, as none are provided. We took sugar, creamer, and tea bags from the lobby, where coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were set up permanently.
We loved cooking in and enjoying the space. The kids loved watching the aerial tram zoom past our room as they ate breakfast.
I hadn’t been to Jackson Hole in about 20 years. While Teton Village has grown dramatically, there are few shops and restaurants. We were glad it had not been commercialized; however, we wished there were more places to eat. Most restaurants were part of the hotels in the village. There were no casual family places to dine on site except the Mangy Moose, which has a limited menu. I had thought it would have been more like Vail or Mt Tremblant in terms of restaurant choices. There are many good restaurants in Jackson if you don’t mind making the 20-minute drive there.
On Monday and Friday nights during our stay, the Teton Club hosted a $10 per person cook-out for guests. They offered hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, pasta salads, and dessert. We participated in one night and it was tasty and fun. On other nights, guests could use the grills. One need only call the front desk. They heat the grill for you.
Despite the dearth of restaurant choices, we would absolutely stay in Teton Village again; downtown Jackson was crowded and lacked the tranquillity of the village. Also, we loved being literally five minutes from a Grand Teton National Park entrance. We’d take game drives at night and enjoyed hiking there during the day. If you have a senior citizen in your party, you can use their senior National Parks pass to get into Grand Teton and Yellowstone for free. The senior must be in the car with you and the guards usually check i.d.
At the Village, the kids loved taking the aerial tram to the top of Rendezvous Mountain. We had two free passes from lasthoorah.com. It’s about $80 for a family of four to take the tram. The view is worth it, and you can hike around up there. There’s also a great snack shack at the summit- delicious waffles. At 4 each afternoon, the gondola offered free rides to The Deck, where we sat outside and had drinks and appetizers. The incredible view made this a favourite thing to do each afternoon we were around. The kids also loved playing Frisbee golf, climbing the rock wall, and doing the bungee jump and aerial ropes course on site.
The people who work at the Teton Club were great. From the time we arrived until the time we left, everyone was friendly, helpful, and eager to make our stay an enjoyable one. The valet parking was lightening-fast. We’d call down for our car, and each time we walked out the front doors, the car was waiting for us. We never had to wait. I can’t emphasize how nice these people were. They contributed to us having a great time.
The Teton Club is an exceptional property. We’d definitely return and recommend. We loved its location in Teton Village, right near the tram and gondola, yet tucked away and private. It really was a perfect place from which to enjoy Jackson Hole.
