Temptation Cancun Resort Timeshare Reviews
WE ARE PREMIER MEMBERS!!
My Fiance took me here for my bday, we rented the penthouse suite it was super crazy amazing, we stood in our room most of the time that’s how nice it was. The service of both our butlers was great. The food was excellent. This place is so dope we even brought timeshare.
not the place if your on business
if you like noise, like to party until all hours, have a laid-back attitude then this is the hotel for you, however, if anything goes wrong don’t expect to see the manager as he is always unavailable. they quicker passing you onto another person to deal with your issues than sorting out with you directly.
you can order room service but you will not always get what you would like. I ended up with a burger and fries, burger was like a Frisbee the fries cold.
the room was comfortable enough once I found out to close the blinds.
there was a good breakfast choice from the restaurant, don’t wait to be seated you’ll wait all day. there is suppose to be a dress code in the restaurant but guests seem to ignore it. Definitely an adult hotel so not suitable for kids under 18
The Temptation Experience
The Temptation Experience was highly enjoyable. The entire staff, starting at the front door greeters to the men and women maintaining the grounds were outstanding. I recommend that you should stay in the tower (the only area with elevators)
Real party place for adults
We stayed at Temptation from 25th Sept for 2 weeks, must say we were first timers here so were a little apprehensive.
First few days we took finding our way around, and the whole place is amazing.
Yes we knew there would be builders on site doing work and to be honest didn’t really affect us in anyway, such a lot of work in a short time, our room was large with a huge king size bed, there was a walk in shower, the room was a very high standard, although the only gripe was that the room overlooked the main road, which was very busy, could have done with double glazed units to cut out the noise but apart from that everything else in the room was great.
Well we had heard the food was good, there is so much choice a taste for everyone palate, the food was hot and plentiful. We visited all the restaurants except the seafood, the food and service in all the restaurants was top class.
The staff were amazing, really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, they work so hard and always have a smile on their faces. Wouldn’t be fair to name individuals as they all treated us like royalty.
The place is truly amazing and we will definitely be returning, but there were a couple of things we’d like to see is the sports bar, most nights it was empty, why not make this a nightclub, the weather turned bad on a few nights so entertainment went down there and we danced and partied all night, everyone made the same statement they said it would be better to be a nightclub so people have the choice if they don’t fancy the entertainment. Also the top Jacuzzi this would be really great if this was opened up at night would add to the atmosphere. Oh, there were a few too many single men for our liking but they didn’t bother us, would be better if it was a couple only.
Foam party was so much fun, we loved every minute of our stay, the entertainment team made it that more special.
We are fairly well travelled but this has got to be one of our best holidays yet, we partied like we were teenagers and had so much fun, never laughed so much.
Temptation Cancun Resort
Temptation Cancun was an amazing experience. It’s a perfect getaway for couples wanting to relax, but also have some fun! We stayed in the Bash tower and our room was awesome. Beautiful view of the ocean, and right in the center of the fun
Week at the new Temptations
We had a great weeks stay at Temptations, our first stay post renovations. Definitely had a lot of fun and there was no shortage of good drinks and great staff members making our stay even better.
Few things that really stood out to me included the 24hr room service and the sky pool and bar deck (included for tower guests and premier these are additional charges for guests with white bracelets) both made a difference in our stay.
SHE was a surprisingly great dining experience. I have a dairy intolerance and the chef went above and beyond to prepare my dishes without anything I could eat. Sutra both hibachi and regular menu are both delicious would recommend doing both experiences.
Few areas I personally felt still need some improvements. The sky bar only being open Wednesday-Sunday is a bit disappointing. We’d only discovered how tasty their food was for lunch towards the end of our stay and then it was closed the day before and of our departure. It’s nice to go up there to take a break from the main happenings at the sexy pool for lunch with a great view!
I wasn’t overly impressed with the Italian Restaurant or Sea Flirt mainly due to my dietary restrictions not being accommodated very well. Also the house wine was pretty much undrinkable. I like a good glass of wine with my dinner.
Besides some improvements with the food we will definitely return, maybe for 4-5 nights next time. The resort has a lot to offer for a fun party vacation!
Another Great Vacation at the New Temptation Resort
This was our 5th time at Temptation but our first since the major renovations. The place is very different but still has a bit of the old. The first room we got was close to the new Gym, which was very loud at night and we had to ask for a different room. They gave us a room in the 1300 and that was perfect, very quiet and we slept very well. The new rooms are very modern and comfortable, but whoever designed the room didn’t think of towels or swimsuits, there is only one hook in the whole bathroom…so, you have to put it outside to dry. You may want to bring suction cup hooks. But if you take away that small inconvenience, the rooms are fabulous.
The restaurants: The buffet has a good choice, for a breakfast visit both sides for more variety (breakfast and lunch). One side of the buffet turns into Flames for Dinner, which was ok, not great, but ok. Amores (the old Margarita) is a great choice for Lunch and Dinner, service is quick and good. Try the Beef Filet, it was excellent! Sutra is also very good, the show and the food are worth it! Don’t forget, gentlemen require long pants at all a la carte restaurants. The Italian restaurant is the same as before, good! All the restaurants have been revamped and the menu has changed also.
For the Sexy pool, it is still a great place to mingle, enjoy the show and still the best day entertainment anywhere. The new Lounge is great, the sound is amazing and so are the shows. You have to see the Glow in the dark, the Superhero and the lingerie shows, totally amazing!
We had a great time, great place! The concierge ladies are also amazing! they will help you with anything you need. The only downsides are the $400 on the credit card which nobody knew about when we got there and the main desk person which could hardly speak English when we got there…but for the rest, Temptation is still the best Adults only resort! Looking forward to our 6th time.
And before I forget, they still bug you with the timeshare thing…what they should focus on, are the returning guess!
Hope this review helps you!
It takes a lot to elicit a negative review
I’m on day 2 of a 7 day stay. I’ve stayed at my fair share of resorts and thus far, this has been the most disappointing.
I booked the hotel because it was listed as a great place for singles. I have yet to find another single person here. Not the hotel’s fault per se, but if you’re single and looking to mingle, then my suggestion is to stay somewhere else.
The service here is incredibly inconsistent. While I have been very happy with some of the staff, I was sold into the VIP experience and told that I would be given contact information for a butler that would help me throughout my stay. I have yet to receive that contact info. Their brochure advertises currency exchange at the front desk 24/7. When I went to the front desk I was told to ask the bartenders. The bartenders then redirected me to the front desk. For over $400 a night I shouldn’t be made to feel like I’m a burden to anyone, especially since there are so many other resorts competing for my business in this hospitality industry.
There is no drink menu. If you ask the bartenders to make you a cocktail you will most likely get a tequila sunrise or a margarita. I guess I’ve just been spoiled by resorts that are less expensive. So far the food is very mediocre. I sat at my table for lunch, ate at the buffet, and was never even offered a drink. This is after I purchased my VIP bracelet. Hopes of mezcal and local tequila cocktails should be spent elsewhere. Having said that, great attention would have made up for the deficit.
I was promised butler service and have had none. I was told I would be shown information about events nearby and amenities but instead, I was fed 8 shots of tequila by a girl trying to sell me into a timeshare.
If you’re a married or dating swinger type that just wants to enjoy a senor frogs style topless resort than this is for you. If you enjoy nice resorts, hope to meet other singles, are a foodie, enjoy craft cocktails, like the finer things in life, avoid like a plague. Who knows though, I’m stuck with 5 more days. Maybe they can turn it around.
