I would give this place 2.5-3 stars. It is over rated on trip advisor for sure! The rooms are fine and the pool is nice, but everything else lacks. The location isn’t the best, free shuttle to beach is infrequent, make sure to rent your own car while visiting. They lied on the Interval International information form, stating they have a hot tub or sauna on sight. They have neither.
What they have could be called a jacuzzi if your being liberal. It is almost the same temperature as the swimming pool. Only a tad less fridged b/c it is a smaller size. We talked to a timeshare owner in there and she said in years past it was better but they are getting cheap and not heating it much anymore. Only the jets on one side worked to make bubbles either & you couldn’t get any massage feeling from the ones working.
The pool loungers are nice and have good padding on them. They get good credit at the pool. Slide for the kids as well. Looks pretty and is large. Lots of families and older couples at the resort. It had a nice feeling at the pool.
Food is sparse and doesn’t look special.
Very little activities or entertainment on sight. The front desk staff isn’t the nicest or most accommodating either. You can only get fresh pool towels on Tuesday & Friday. I didn’t get any and called reception to request them. You have to be present at the pool between 10-2 those two days and exchange it yourself! When I asked about an exchange the next day since I missed it, I was chastised. They had towels behind the front desk and did exchange them finally after some arguing, but they tried to send us off with a scolding and none initially.
The bed in our room was hard. The pillows were the worst I’ve even seen/felt!!!! They are flat as a pancake and hard!! I requested 4 extras the second day and they were happy to accommodate, but all 4 showed up just the same hard and flat things.
They charge you 1.8€/day to use the safe in your room!!! Parking is 2€/ as well. The internet is free as it should be, b/c it is horrible and takes forever to get any connection to anything.

Amazing hotel, barely edible food
This was our first half board experience as we were now travelling with a young child.
The hotel itself, we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. It’s getting close to needing general updating, lots of cracks and old damage, sometimes outdated furniture/furnishings, but otherwise very pleasant.
The room was very spacious and so plenty of room for our little one to run around. The balcony area is also very generous and relaxing. The view over the pool area and palm trees was nice.
A couple of oddities, the microwave is at floor oven height and so not easiest to use fiddling with buttons whilst bending over. Plus the hair dryer in the bathroom is completely pointless, it won’t be drying anything anytime soon!
Bed was two singles pushed together, wasn’t until the middle of our 11 night stay we asked for this to be changed. They immediately put in a foam piece to bridge the beds. This was ok – but overall bed could have been more comfortable.
The swimming pools were both very nice and spacious when we went over Easter, so although not summer, still fairly busy. The hot tub wasn’t the best. Bubbles only turned on intermittently and could’ve been hotter!
Hotel also has a basic mini golf course which was good fun and reasonably priced at £3pp. Even had mini golf clubs for our little one.
Underground parking in the hotel was very convenient.
Now to get to the biggest gripe we had, the food, a buffet, was just horrendous. I was sick on the third night. Not food poisoning or overeating, I think just really poor quality food that made me sick and felt fine afterwards. The vegetable dishes were all like mush, way over cooked. Similarly with the meat, like eating flavourless rubber. Same goes for the fish dishes. Breakfast was slightly better, but far from being quality food.
I complained after the first dinner, asking if I could order form the menu instead but they said no. I had to stick with the barely edible buffet food.
The last 4 nights of our say we exclusively ate out at restaurants because we wouldn’t handle the food anymore. I wouldn’t wish this food on anyone else. It was simply bad.
For this reason alone, we wouldn’t come back here. Unless we stayed without any meals included – if you don’t need meals, then it’s a fantastic place! The food just really let’s it down.
Finally, the staff, generally very good especially with our little girl.
Room and pool ok
For families with children the pool area is great. So are the rooms. They rooms are spacious and well maintained.
The restaurant is not that good. One night we waited for the food almost an hour, the restaurant was not full. Maybe 10 guests. When we finally recieved the food it was the wrong dish.
I suggest to take a taxi down to beach and restaurant area in Maspalomas. The cost is about five euros one way. Lots of good restaurants.
At the hotel’s premises there is a small supermarket. White good merchandise and also wine and spirits
Average
My husband and I stayed here for a week at the beginning of July. I would say the hotel was pretty average although we got what we paid for. Room is pretty basic but kept clean. The pool areas are ideal ( two large pools). The poolside bar was a bit pricey although it was nice and we did eat from there.
The downside to this hotel is there was no evening entertainment and nowhere to have a drink apart from a small bar which was empty.
The hotel is a taxi ride from any of the centres therefore we got taxis every night as nothing to do in the hotel.
We wouldn’t stay here again as the location was a bit rubbish especially with no entertainment in the hotel.
Good but needs improvement
My biggest complaint is the lack of services mainly and most importantly a bag service…our room M12 was at the far end of the hotel and we were expected to carry our bags or stroll them all the way across the gravel and none flat bumpy stone road all the way to our rooms, down and up the stairs and then back when we finally left.
Other than this the air conditioning wasn’t working. In general the rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious so that was good.
The pool bar was sub-par and not up to expectations.
The food wasn’t bad, and the location is only 5 min by taxi to a very nice area filled with wonderful places to eat and shop and go to the beach (boulevard faro).
The staff are nice and helpful.
There is also a massage service that you might need after you throw your back out from dragging your luggage to and from your rooms.
Disappointed
Very disappointed about the way the sun beds are managed.
People put their towels out early and don’t return for hours.
This is meant to be managed by the pool staff but obviously not.
If you complain to reception they say it’s not their problem it’s down to the pool staff and therefore nothing has happens.
The evening restaurant has a buffet which looks like it’s been standing there all evening.
Apart from the receptionist staff are unfriendly.
You have to pay to use the safe in the room which seems bit tight.
