Let Mercantile Claims assist you with Marriott Timeshare Release, Claims & Compensation
Owners of Marriott Resorts timeshares often find themselves trapped in infinite contracts with rapidly increasing maintenance fees which ultimately stems from a mis-sold timeshare contract. Over recent years there have been a number of ground-breaking rulings regarding mis-sold timeshares by many timeshare groups and resorts which have resulted in refunds and compensation. Many owners of Marriott’s Barony Beach Club timeshare contracts are entitled to, or have already made claims.
Many Marriot Owners have said that they want to terminate their timeshare because of high increases in fees including annual maintenance fees, Aggressive fee collection procedures enforced by the timeshare scheme and contracts committing owners to pay fees for “timeshare contracts in perpetuity”
Horrible customer service from the manager to the outdoor bar
While on a recent visit we encountered the rudest bartender ever. As owners of multiple Marriott timeshares, we have experienced many of Marriott’s hotels and timeshares. This visit was by far the worst.Warning the bar will charge you different prices for the same drinks during Happy Hour. When we brought this to the manager of the resort his answer was sorry but what is done is done and there is no way to fix it.REALLY. If you treat your Platinum Elite Customers this way I can only imagine how you treat others.Sadly I do not recommend this place

Uncomfortable furniture, uncomfortable beds and not as described.
The couch had a bed built into it and was incredibly uncomfortable and hard. The 2 chairs in the living room were equally hard and uncomfortable. The mattress on the master room bedroom was old and sagged. It was impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The AC didn’t seem to flow all the way to the master bedroom either, so we had to turn it down to 64, which still wasn’t enough. In the morning, we then froze everywhere else in the room.
There was a cockroach in the kitchen. Just one – but that’s enough for me to not eat anything again in the kitchen. Finally, we think we received such a terrible space because it was made clear to us that trading in as Interval (as well as Marriott) members made us 2nd class citizens. To say we won’t go back is an understatement. We may completely leave the Marriott program after this.
Old, dated accommodations and poor customer service
Rude, noisy
The room was decent but the furniture is clearly old as it smelled like musty old moth balls. The carpet was soaking wet in the master bedroom which we assumed was due to cleaning the carpets but the rest of the condo was completely dry.
The final straw was waking up at 1:00 a.m. to a very loud motor noise throughout the entire villa. It sounded like a leaf blower or some sort of motorized equipment was going allllll night long. It finally stopped at 6:00 a.m. The noise would get louder and then taper off, louder and then taper off. We also heard talking or a tv playing all night. Needless to say, we are moving to a different marriott resort today!
Would never stay here again!!
They had activities during the day but they were geared towards adults and not young children.
If you are a couple and looking for a getaway this would be good for you. If you are a family this is not a resort for you. Most of the activities centred around adults with wine, beer and other adult activities. The staff was not very friendly or helpful when needed. Our room was not up to par with Marriott standards.
The room was not clean , had mold in bathrooms, pipes made a banging noise when water was running. The water itself I would not drink it had a horrible smell to it.
The furniture looked beat up with scratches, wobbly legs etc. These rooms are in serious need of rehabing. They did have onsight bike rentals which we took advantage off and were able to explore the island.
The Spa was a huge disappointment for this simple reason…my daughter and I decided to tour the spa during one of their open house sessions….the staff was rude to my daughter and did not like the fact she was with me….I think this staff needs to be more open minded to younger girls…after all there are young girls that do get pedi’s and mani’s…..and that is what my daughter was interested in getting…after the reception we received we would not step foot back in there! Spa staff needs to get lower their noses a little bit instead of being stuffy!! I could go on and on.. but will refrain. We will be returning to Hilton Head and loved the island, however, we will be looking to stay at another Marriott property, not Barony Beach!!
Thanks for ruining my Vacation
