Absolutely beautiful location
This is the first time I’ve done a review but after staying at Carvynick I felt I had to.
We’ve recently returned from a short break looking for peace, tranquillity and space to spend time as a family. It didn’t disappoint. All the staff we met were so friendly right from the moment we arrived. We were shown to our cottage where the heating had been turned on for our arrival as the weather had been a bit chilly (nice touch!). We stayed at No 9 Willow Cottage which was lovely, gorgeous views of the countryside and plenty of space for 5 of us. Although the car parking spaces looked full we hardly saw anyone.
The pub on site was absolutely gorgeous. Although we only went for one meal everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
There’s loads of countryside to explore, the site is immaculate and it was a fabulous bolt hole to return to after busy days on the beach.
It was a nice touch as well in the welcome pack explaining the history of the site.
We will definitely be back

it will be lovely we stayed in bungalow 34
Great location for us.
The property was very clean and tidy. well, equip kitchen.
Just a couple of pointers to guests.
At the moment it is a bit of a building site… but I am sure this will be over soon and it will be lovely.
No mention of this when we booked.
The staff we very friendly and quick to sort out the problems we had
Excellent stay!!
Stayed here between Christmas and new year and booked particularly because it was a pet-friendly site and dogs were welcomed both in the cottages and the onsite pub. The park was easy to find and in a great location, Newquay being a short drive away.
The onsite pub the Fox’s revenge was a welcomed addition, the food (and the wine) were excellent and good value for money.
We stayed in cottage 9 which had a Large conservatory.
On arrival, the lady at reception was very helpful and friendly.
The heating was turned on before our arrival plus the little added touch of tea and coffee and cake in the cottage was a great touch.
I really couldn’t fault the stay! I will certainly be returning!!
Very welcoming on arrival
Stayed in our tourer in October for 2 nights with our 3 children. Fantastic view from the pitch. The owners are very friendly which was lovely and they settled us in very well.
The pub on site is really nice!
They could make the field areas into an amazing golf course as this was very run down which is a shame as my husband would have loved to have around. However, to be fair we were informed of this before arrival so he didn’t bother to bring his clubs …just saying for future development :) it is currently a small course but could definitely be expanded.
We both felt paying £15 (family price) for the pool was slightly off-putting. I think if the sauna/ jacuzzi etc was included in that price it wouldn’t make it as bad a deal and that is the only reason it doesn’t get a 5 star review.
The weather was awful but that can’t be helped and we all had a lovely time all in all and hopefully will return in the summer.
Oh and a park would be great for the kids too and would definitely be something I would look for if visiting again (from a family perspective)
Nice walks and beaches nearby too.
