Do NOT BOOK to come here if you want a relaxing time and to be treated with Great Customer service cos you won’t get it!
Having been here for only 24 hours, and after playing near on £1500 for a 8 night stay, we arrived and allocated a room right at the back of the resort in the corner overlooking an alleyway. When we booked we made a request to have a room with a pool view, which has been simply ignored. Our view is a grotty alley and for the last 3 hours directly outside has been a group of drunken vagrants making a lot of noise. We have requested to be moved as soon as we arrived BUT the reception desk told us that as we are not Timeshare owners or Diamond Members we are the lowest priority when it comes to allocating the best rooms… So basically we were told we were 2nd class citizens to those timeshare customers. Further, she said if they were to find another room for us they would charge us 30 euros to do this.
Seriously after spending so much on this break and just wanting a lovely holiday, we are now faced with spending the next 8 days in a terrible room looking over a concrete alleyway with lots of noise outside from the tramps and being unable to use the balcony cos of the noise.
There has been no attempt to try and resolve the situation by the reception staff and all we kept being told were “these are the rules and regulations”…
To be quite honest if we could get our money back we would be moving out immediately but as we are unable to do that we have not choice but to hope they move us.
Clearly spending £1400 for a week does not entitle you to a decent room and good customer service We, are extremely angry that our 8 night holiday, which we have been looking forward to for ages, is going to be awful.
My tip to anyone reading this and booking through a normal website, Booking.com/ hotels.com etc, DO NOT as you will get a bad room with NO View and NO GOOD customer service to resolve the situation.
There are other reviews similar to mine below and had I read these before we would have booked somewhere else.
Fill out your details below and we’ll get straight back.
Alternatively, give us a call on 0800 470 3900.
Gone downhill
This resort used to be a lovely resort. Since it has been opened up to outsiders the place has gone downhill. Just witnessed a group of young blokes trying to kick the door down on room 211.
No wonder the timeshare owners are fed up and want out of ownership.

Charges
Not enough sunbeds and if you want a bed by the pool be prepared to be up with the lark, even though you are not supposed to reserve beds the ones that are reserved are the members as they have a stripy hotel towel. By the time 9am arrives, you will not get a bed and if you reserve one without a hotel towel they get taken off.
Never again will I use Diamond Resorts.
Wifi at 5 Euros a day and the room cleaning every few days.
We ended up on the beach hiring sunbeds and a parasol for a few days.
Constantly been reminded that we have a free breakfast or lunch and then a meeting for 90 minutes.
No thanks, why would I do that and lose half a day of my holiday when you can’t guarantee me and my family a sunbed.
GONE DOWNHILL FASTER THAN A SKI RACER
Now letting anyone into what was once a superb family resort.
Too many sunbeds for a relatively small pool deck area.
How do ignorant Glaswegians manage to secure a row of at least 12 sunbeds every day AND show no respect whatsoever by ‘stealing’ the lifeguard’s umbrella (you know who you are – scum). Resort management non-existent.
Apartments dated. Wi-fi terrible.
Very sad to see such a decline under current management from what was indeed a 5* resort in relatively recent years.
Beware Overbooking Practiced Here
This is a timeshare resort which we booked through a third party travel agent. On arrival we were told there was “Bad news” The apartment we had booked months earlier was not available and we would have to spend the night at a sister resort. We were immediately guided into a taxi, without an apology, and sent to a more downmarket place for the night.
Clearly, timeshare club members are prioritised over other guests…
After a few enquiries the following day we were told an apartment was available and allowed to return.
The resort itself is ok. The pool is fine, entertainment staff are enthusiastic, reception staff less so (unless trying to sell timeshares). It’s a typical Brits abroad environment.
Our travel agent refunded the cost of our first night a few weeks later.
Be careful
We went to view this place as part of a ticket we had won we asked was it about timeshares the girl Said no it was just to have a look so we went along the minute we arrived not to our surprise it was timeshares.
They were nice up until we said no we don’t want to buy into them then it was OK out the door.
So people please be careful
