Do Not Stay Here
My friend invited us to come down for a night to stay with her and her family. She reserved two rooms for three nights and the plan was for her other guests to leave after two nights and we would come to stay one. When we checked in the front desk manager Ashley told us to just give her a card when we checked out. Our room was dirty, smelled like a dog and had some sort of funk in the cupboards and drawers.
When we went to check out the next morning the front desk gave my husband a slip of paper to sign and said he was good to go. They actually did not charge our card and instead charged my friend’s card she had used to make reservations. They told us they would only be charging one night stay, which fortunately my husband recorded them saying on his phone and instead they charged my friends card for three nights on top of what she had already paid for her stay when she checked out! I still have the slip of paper they gave my husband as a receipt showing the card would only be charged one night. We called to clear this up and were told they could not do it at the front desk and the accountant had left for the day.
My friend called to clear it up and the accountant, a woman named Teyre, argued with her back and forth and when my friend asked her to produce a credit card slip signed by someone who was on the account for $386 she went and actually signed one herself! She not only is committing fraud against my friend, but she is also committing forgery, do not hire this woman! My friend thought she could go to the manager, a man named Bob, and he backed his employee by just never bothering to answer or intervene. This hotel is committing a crime and has unexplained charges as well as charge peoples accounts for hundreds of dollars of extra money hoping that the guest will not notice. The only reason they got caught is that we realized they charged my friends card. Ashley, Teyre and Bob are all together on this.
This is not to mention that the reservations my friend made were changed without telling her: the rooms were wrong: the size of beds were wrong: they put her in a pet friendly room and she is severely allergic to dogs but refused to move her even though she was breaking out in hives and wheezing, they stole vodka and medication out of our rooms, and now they are committing fraud and forgery to people they already put through Heck on their vacation and not one of them has apologized or worked to make things right.
Teyre should not be an accountant, the only thing she should count is the number of burgers she can flip in an hour which will work out fine for her when she goes to jail for her illegal ways, Ashley at the front desk should not be in charge of anything except educating herself on how to provide customer service and then taking a job her intelligence level can handle and Bob the hotel manager, where is he, he is collecting his guests money illegally and not responding to anyone which shows how horrible of a decision it was fo hire this man to operate a hotel.
The Hallmark is WAY better. Do not stay in this hotel. It is not worth it.

Save your money .. False advertising
The room was so bad we could not sleep in it.
The smell was vile, the carpet so badly stained and dirty, picture frames broken on walls, furniture stained.
Looks nothing like the website photos.
I had booked a King suite and it did not come with what was advertised. When we complained the manager said we could upgrade but at a price. Got travel agent involved who managed to get us the upgrade but that wasn’t much better and not worth the money.
There were bait traps in the room, stained beds and couch and so outdated that it was out of the 70s.
They need to do a complete overhaul of the hotel or charge half the price and show what it really looks like on their website.
Do not stay here if you want hot water.
Absolutely horrible! We booked a 4 night stay, with 24 hrs we had no hot water.
We had no hot water in the bathroom. We had no hot water in the kitchen. They made us aware of the problem by placing a note on our door stating they couldn’t address it until the next day.
However, It was not fixed the next day, nor did they give any explanation, apology, or reach out & contact us in any way. We had to inquire.
Unfortunately, they could not move us. So for 3 days & 3 nights the same story, and absolutely no hot water.
They were not willing to give any type of compensation either. Unbelievable!
Rude Staff in the absence of Management
During Valentine’s night, several guests were in the hot tub and pool area enjoying our evening. The pool guide decided at 8pm that it was time to kick everyone out and treat the hot tub with chemicals that required us all to leave the hot tub area. His attitude and treatment of us was the height of rudeness I have experienced from a hotel staff member.
When I went to the front desk to complain about his treatment, I learned that the last manager left at 5pm. Ronnie, an interim manager, tried to help with the situation only to have the pool staff undermine her authority as soon as she left the building.
I have never experienced such a lack of respect from hotel staff and a complete absence of management. I cannot say that I will return to this hotel only to be treated this disrespectfully again on Valentine’s Day.
wont be back
Checked in through our timeshare at a “sketchy” off site location. When we got there the first impression was not good. The building we where in was old and in real need of repair.
Once we got to our room both my wife and i were pleased with the cleanliness of the suite and the view. The furniture is dated bur have seen worse. We only got a studio as we were only planning on a one night stay, the space was fine for us.
The problem arose when I could CLEARLY hear the people in the next room through the connecting door. They were not being loud and the tv was not an issue, however was concerned enough about what the night may bring that we left.
Upon checking out less than 90 minutes later the lady who checked us in commented on the fact the door is an issue. Thing is i NEVER mentioned the connecting door so to my thinking, this has been an issue before. Regardless we will not be staying at this property again.
