Great Location and Friendly Service
We stayed at the Clock Tower for a week after exchanging points from our Diamond International account. You could not ask for a better location – 30 seconds walk to the village lifts, ski shop and rental place right on the ground floor of the hotel, and you are right on the doorstep of countless shops, restaurants and bars.
The room we stayed in was small but perfectly formed, had everything we needed and the pull-down bed added a bit of adventure to it.
The room was absolutely spotless. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea but as my wife commented it was like staying in a tree house which we thought was great fun!
We had packed our earplugs having read previous reviews but we were not bothered by any noise from the village until the very last night and that was only due to it being a Washington State “College Weekend”!
The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Rob on the front desk, always happy to offer a recommendation or a bit of local knowledge.
This was our first visit to Whistler, I am sure we will be back and I am sure we will stay again at the Clock Tower.

Love Whistler
We visit Whistler at least 2 times per year from the Seattle area.
We are owners in a time-share at the “Clock Tower” it is one of our favourite places in the Northwest to stay.
We have been there in the Summer, Fall and Winter.
The units are small in the “Clock Tower” and they do not have elevators, so walking up stairs is your only option.
Once you park in Whistler Village everything is within walking distance.
Clock Tower is in the middle of the village very close to the ski slopes, food, hiking, everything.
If you enjoy Mtn Biking (extreme) Whistler is the place to visit during the summer/spring.
Downhill bikes are easily rentable and are a special product.
If you show up on your privately owned bike there is a great chance of breaking it.
Whistler is also very family friendly.
Gorgeous
The buildings are not numbered but we were still able to locate the Clocktower Hotel in Whistler in the center of Whistler Village after a few minutes of circling the area.
It is right next to the Executive Inn and Sundial. The Front desk people are very friendly.
My husband and I were very impressed with the place – it is cosy and gives you a warm feeling, thanks to the pretty decorative colours of the furnishings. We stayed at a one bedroom with a loft bedroom, and with a full kitchen.
The Parking lot, which is shared by all the other resorts around it is limited and is located in the basement.
We had a great fun time walking around, sightseeing and shopping in Whistler – including Blackcomb which is located in the Upper Village.
The Olympics will be held here in 2010 – we saw a lot of construction going on in Vancouver and also while driving up along the way to Whistler.
We have taken over a hundred photos which we will enjoy looking at for a long time- such a beautiful place!
We greatly recommend for people to come here!
A Short Getaway
We recently went to Whistler for a short getaway and stayed right in the middle of the Village at the Clock Tower hotel.
A basic room, but clean and with a full kitchen. The best part was the location.
We were steps away from all the restaurants, pubs, clubs and the village square.
We stayed during the ski and snowboard festival, so there were daily free concerts and lots of tents giving away free stuff.
All in all a great trip.
Very Very Small
Small is about the first word I could use to describe this place. Having a kitchenette was nice, though the fridge made some very odd noises.
The Murphy bed was an obvious space saver and relatively comfortable.
The Clocktower looks onto the village square which makes it very convenient for those looking to go up to Whistler mountain but also very noisy until 430AM (that being said I was there on Sat and Sun nights)
The front desk staff and the housekeeper were very nice.
Second stay not so great
If I didn’t learn Clock Tower would be installing new windows sometime over the next year I’d be writing a different review.
This is my second time staying here (once last December) and the location can’t be beaten but the windows are a big issue.
Last December we were on the backside and the garbage trucks woke us up too early in the morning.
This time we stayed in August and hit a very busy time as the Crank Works was on and by Friday night I had inconsiderate people thinking it was appropriate to stand below my window and carry on loud conversations.
I should have been prepared as they gave us earplugs when we checked in but I was lulled into a false confidence by the first two nights being noisy but tolerable with earplugs…the third night not so much!
Hopefully, the new windows will make a major difference.
Other than the outside noise our stay was great although the kitchen in our particular unit was much smaller than last time (this time we were in the actual clock tower).
Would I stay here again? Yes, once the windows have been replaced!
Great location!
Great location! Grab your skis & jump on the lift. Right in the heart of Whistler! You can park your car & walk to the lift, shopping & restaurants.
A couple of items about the Clock Tower:
1.) You’ll need to take out your own garbage & wash your dishes before you leave the condo.
2.) There is no elevator.
3.) When you check in and are parking out front, be sure to watch the parking signs: You will get a ticket if you are parked in front for more than 15 minutes.
4.) No pool or hot tub
5.) Staff was friendly
6.) No fitness area
Great location for a comfortable bed
Loved the location for our 3 days of skiing in fabulous snow conditions.
It’s tough climbing all the stairs after a long day of skiing (no elevator).
Room was really small. You can barely walk around the Murphy bed to get to the 2 seat sofa. On the plus side, it’s fun looking at the local ravens in the eye from all the bright windows under the sloped roof.
The kitchen was also small, but serviceable and we even cooked several suppers.
Staff were friendly and helpful, and the unit was clean and in good repair…and did we mention very small…
We would squish in again for the location so close to the lifts and action.
