Another dated Diamond Property
Like many Diamond Properties, the location is great but the unit has a very dated feel. When we arrived after dark all of the exterior lights on the building were off, making it an adventure to find the unit. The kitchen appliances are old and the bathroom fixtures are dated. The couch and loveseat are quite uncomfortable. The location on Naples Bay is lovely but the unit itself is not high quality.

Good location.. not much else.
On the positive side, the location of this “resort” is good. It’s within walking distance of downtown/beach/city dock. The unit we stayed in had a nice sized kitchen and a comfortable living room and large lanai. The master bedroom/bathroom was nicely decorated.
However, there were several small negative issues that led to an overall underwhelming stay.
We knew from reading other reviews that there are no elevators on the property so we requested (and received) a first floor unit. The view from our unit/building was of the neighboring park’s busy parking lot and a small water view beyond that.
We did not know that there is no daily maid service and they require you to take your own trash to the dumpsters before leaving.
They charge a resort fee of ~$15/per day.
The parking by the units is parallel spots, there are some normal spots at the end of the property.
The tiki bar is open depending on if a bartender shows up to work or not & the weather. A local tour boat captain was acting as a bartender for part of our stay because the bartender didn’t show, and then there was a young lady who had just started. They were able to pour beer and wine, but anything more complex was beyond their combined skill set. Off brand alcohol was charged at premium prices.
The second bedroom does not have an ensuite bathroom, which is probably fine for parents travelling with their young children, but it’s not great for two adult couples since the secondary bedroom/bathroom hallway is directly next to the kitchen.
The air conditioner was completely iced over when we arrived and never worked properly.
The washer turned our load of whites pink.
There were multiple trash bags in the front lawn almost daily.
Lastly, the property was directly under the flight path for the Naples airport. During some parts of the day, planes were landing over us every 2 minutes.
NICE, QUIET, NEEDS WORK
This was my first time at the charter club of Naples bay very cute resort. For a location of being In the heart of Naples, it’s dead on excellent. Rooms very some of the cleanest I have seen. Now to the needs work
1. Fix the broken dock or tear it down it’s an eyesore and a liability
2. What is the hours on the bar it was open then closed open then closed? If you are going to have a club bar have fix dead on hours every day was very disappointed here it’s nice to have a drink poolside. Perfect hours here would be 12 -7 Seven days a week open rain or shine
3. The rooms need work washing machine was to big for the room and stuck out into the hall. Paint paint paint
4. And just touch ups seems like they are overbooked to not have enough time to fix or repair units kind like they just band-aid
But it was very nice u could not go wrong here I just think the management. Needs to get on top of the minor details to make sure they don’t let things slip away if I was an owner here at this resort and this was my unit I would have many questions on where the proxy money is going
Worse Vacation ever
I made a two nights reservation at this rental and they made me two moves from my condo to another one because they have claimed condo owner is going to arrive on my second night and they want to use it !!!
Staff , Front desk manager, were absolutely unhelpful about it. So I don’t suggest this place at all. As much as I liked the location of this Rental and Old Naples, I won’t stay here ever again and I encourage others to don’t do so.
Condition of units also is extremely outdated. they used plastic under sheet for second bedrooms.
Decent hotel but some cons
Stayed for a week with my parents, husband, and our one-year-old kiddo. My parents are Diamond members. It was our first time staying here.
Pros: Nice location by the harbour, fun to watch the boats go by. Very close to downtown, restaurants, etc. Staff was generally pretty nice.
The condo was a good size with a nice full kitchen. Screened in porch was great. Good recommendations from staff members for places to eat and things to do. Great fluffy pillows! Bikes available to rent as well as beach supplies.
Family friendly – the resort felt very safe, and the other guests were nice. The grounds were beautiful and well-maintained.
Cons: Rooms need some renovation. The furnishings were definitely dated, but probably a good style for the older crowd that this resort gets. Living room furniture (love seat and couch) was uncomfortable, and I wished there had been an armchair, which would have made us able to spread out more. The beach was too far for us to walk since both of my parents have bad knees, we have a giant chunk of a baby, and it was sweltering outside. Very slow and unreliable internet, though I was told it was being upgraded ASAP.
The pool was nice but small. The office closed early… no round-the-clock service here. Also no elevators – just keep that in mind.
Would love to come to Naples again, but next time will probably stay right on the beach. This is probably a better fit for older guests.
Toggle TitleNot What Expected
By viewing the Internet it looked like all rooms would have a nice clear view of the water, but such was not the case.
Unless you are on the top floor or in the first 2 or 3 buildings your view is going to be tall trees or very high shrubs separating the property from a city park.
We were in 11C (very end of the property on the bottom floor) and the view was terrible.
Also, we had very noisy neighbours for the entire 3 days.
As with some other reviewer that mentioned stunning views, must have not been observing from their condo. Property is located on 2 busy side streets and with a lot of heavy vehicle traffic.
