We have successfully terminated timeshare contracts for people who want to get rid of their timeshare. Contact us Now to discuss timeshare release & compensation claims
After the ground-breaking ruling passed by the Spanish Supreme Court in 2015, customers were refunded 40,000 euros and granted timeshare releases – after timeshares were mis-sold.
This decision, alongside other significant judgments, has established that consumers have the right to cease paying timeshare maintenance fees and get out of their timeshare contract. Claims against resorts such as Club La Costa have also been made by previous timeshare owners citing reasons including selling timeshare agreements that ran for 50 years or more, using high-pressure sales tactics on clients, accepting deposits from customers, and facilitating finance on contracts, without observing the proper cooling-off period.
Sick from the food
I just got back from my trip today and I’m ill by the food. I have been throwing up and I believe it’s from the chicken doner I had last night. Looking at other reviews it doesn’t seem as I am the only one either
It’s like HALF AN HOUR away from Kusadasi City Centre, taxis cost a lot to get there if the shuttle was already booked out.
We went to Istanbul whilst being in Turkey for 2 nights when we got back at CLC Kusadasi Golf & Spa our back door which leads to the pool area had been left unlocked although both myself and my husband ensured it had been locked before leaving!!
I went to speak to reception who’s attitude was very poor and did not seem bothered. Even when I had told her I had been bitten in 4 different places by mosquitos and I asked if they could spray the room she did not want to know.
What made it for us was meeting other wonderful guests at the resort.

Relaxing but not with its bad points.
I have just come back from this resort with my girlfriend we went for a week just to get away and relax before Christmas.
I don’t usually write reviews but due to the reviews I saw before I went, I think it elevated my expectations before going. I have not been on holiday for nearly ten years now so was really looking forward to going away. I would not class this resort as a five-star resort more of a high three-star or low four star.
I don’t know if that was because I went out of season or it is usually run like this. I read a couple of reviews saying that the cleaning wasn’t up to standard and I can tell why. The cleaners pretty much just make the bed every two days.
The staff are very polite but when I enquired about upgrading due to the fact that I had been given a room where the sun never hit it once whilst we were out there they said there was nothing that could be done.
In my opinion, the facilities are not five star. The golf club is located a mile away from the resort and when I enquired about playing around they gave me a price list.
There was no discount rate for people staying at the resort, for me to play around it would have cost me 120 Euros for one round.
Even though it is called Kusadasi GOLF and SPA resort the only link between the resort and golf club is location.
From being there a week I saw one person on the golf course.
The SPA was the same there were children running around in the SPA and the facilities were again not five star.
The reason I choose this resort was to relax, use the SPA and play a couple of rounds of golf.
I never used the spa once due to the number of children running around a couldn’t afford to spend 120 euros on a round of golf.
We stayed by the couple a couple of days but only went in the water twice, I have been in the warmer water in lakes in the middle of winter in England.
The water in the pools is so cold that you can’t enjoy it. The alcohol tastes like drain cleaner although the food was good.
As I have been writing this review more and more things have come to my mind and have actually reduced my rating by one. I asked to use the gym and when I went to see it was an empty room with a broken table tennis table inside no other equipment.
I understand that I went there out of season to relax although I don’t believe this to be a 5-star resort with golf and a spa as these are two main aspects of me choosing this holiday and I was very disappointed on arrival at both.
Style over Substance
Having just returned from Turkey I have the following comments to make about CLC Kusadasi Golf & Spa Resort.
The Location
The resort is atop a mountain if being 1000ft above sea level is a mountain. Perhaps it might have been a good move to locate it on a plateau as access from our room in The Pines involved Jacobs ladder followed by an accent that would have taxed a Sherpa.
The Rooms
The rooms themselves are superb if anything over equipped. They are ideal if you are travelling with a family and going to the whole self-catering bit.
Shops, however, to buy supplies are at least a 20 minute ride away! The only way to access these shops is by the shuttle bus that costs £3 each way or taxi that cost a hell of a lot more.
The Food
Pretty much the standard all-inclusive fare. The warming containers could be more efficient as the majority of food from these was lukewarm. The highlight for us were the puddings, if you love Baklava you will be spoilt. We also qualified for an a-la-carte meal at the Golf Clubhouse. A superb location, beautifully decorated and were made to feel like VIP’s . The presentation of the food was again brilliant, the food, however, was not up to the standard of the crockery it was served on. I thought Tiramisu was supposed to contain some coffee and hopefully, some liquor, my late dad’s sherry trifle was a step up from the Tiramisu served.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly take insect repellent and a mosquito killer with you. I was surprised that they operated at that height. My lady was bitten so much she has vowed never to return.
Fantastic suites, lovely grounds and pools, location has issues and not so great food and dining areas.
Just returned from a week at the CLC Golf Resort, with mixed feelings, we usually holiday at All Inclusive hotels, and booked this one as it was such a good deal.
The hotel is not really an all-inclusive hotel its very obviously been built and designed as a timeshare (which I think it would excel at), and is run as a hotel to cope with the excess rooms as I guess the timeshare has never been as successful as they originally hoped – unfortunately this shows.
The Good:
The grounds are amazing – I have never been to a hotel with better planting, it all looks very beautiful.
The suites are fantastic – we got a 2 bed suite which most of their rooms are – with double bed and en-suite bathroom, second twin bedroom with another shower room and loo, and a living-dining area with a pull out bed. The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, big fridge freezer, microwave, toaster etc – all of which we never touched!
The Pool/sunbathing layouts are great – each of the three terraced areas has three pools spread over the terraces, with plenty of loungers with pads, towels are provided each day around 8 – 8:30.
Each area has its own bar / snackbar usually in the middle. We ate lunch here every day it was fairly good, though the choice is limited. Our usual barman was very friendly and attentive and worked hard to keep drinks topped up etc.
Drinks were fine – fairly good in terms of choice for an all-inclusive, and the beer and red wine were very drinkable.
There were always plenty of free loungers around the local pool (pines) and lots free in the main pool area. No getting up at 5am to put towels down here!
The not so good:
Reception staff when we arrived at 3am were a bit slow and forgot to give us our welcome pack – so 1st morning we had no map and no idea what times the restaurants were open etc.
The suites are a little shabby – our 2nd toilet flush was broken so we could not use it, several areas around the pool had been shoddily repaired with rough concrete.
The three terraced areas have lots of steps to get to room / pool / snackbar / loos etc.
Lunch service at the snack bar sometimes had lukewarm food as the kitchen just put the food on the hatch and the barman has to find time around serving drinks to get it out to the table.
The outdoor pools (at least on the terraced areas) are freezing – I swam very briefly. I know its out of season, but it was very hot sunbathing – I think the breeze overnight on the pools just cools them down too much for the sun to heat the next day. (The sea was way warmer)
Poor:
The reception area is a bit shabby and has poor facilities and layout, your first sight in the hotel is the slightly scruffy timeshare sales desk, there are only a few slightly tatty looking chairs, sofas and tables in this area.
The main bar is off this level but its way too small to cope of a night-time, and fills up rapidly. It’s a bit of a pain to get drinks and sit in the reception area as there are doors to go through – not easy with hands full of drinks.
The main restaurant looks and feels more like a motorway service area rather than a hotel restaurant.
See pictures for the horrible plastic place-mats and serviette dispensers – they really don’t say 5* AI holiday hotel.
Food choice is a bit limited for the size of the resort – there are only choices under the heated covers (a couple of meat and a few veg) (though the same choice is repeated on the other side), with usually some sort of meat being carved, and then most often pizza at the other end of the dining area and pasta and something like fish or kebab outside. The biggest issue is that the plates are a) often dirty and b) freezing cold. Its hard to get hot food at a buffet, and the only way to keep food even warm by the time you eat it is to have hot plates!
To speed up clearing the waiting staff wheel trolleys to stack plates/glasses etc around the dining area which have bins where they clear the plates. The trolleys were mostly filthy – covered in days old spills, not the best view to have when you are trying to eat.
Location:
The resort is a long transfer from either Izmir (around 1h 30) or Bodrum (around 2h), and about 20-30 mins from Kusadasi and about 20-30 mins from the hotels beach.
Transfers to the beach are free and have to be booked at reception, transfers to Kusadasi cost around £3 per person each way and have to be booked at the excursion office. The office put the wrong date on two couples tickets, and so overbooked the shuttle one day – but they fairly quickly resolved it by sending one couple in a taxi. As the resort is so far out of town it would be nice if the shuttle was free.
Overall:
We got a very good deal on this trip, but I wouldn’t return to the hotel again as the food and restaurant let it down too far.
The room/suite facilities are great – but I never took advantage of them – as a timeshare or as a hotel self-catering it would be lovely, but that’s not what I booked for or wanted.
So if you are after a quiet beautiful location (with an onsite golf course) and are happy to eat out or cook this may be a great place for you – its just not for me.
(On that note: at least two bar/restaurants in town – Murphy’s and Casablanca will pick you up and drop you off at the hotel free if you eat there-there is a poster with Murphy’s phone number in the bus shelter at the resort entrance)
5* All Inclusive ?? Not Really 3* Max
We stayed at this resort the last week of July’17, upon arrival the complex looked great lots of different pools well maintained & lovely 2 bed apartment room, At meal times it resembled a works canteen rather than a 5* All Inclusive, you had to hunt for a clean table, find your own clean cutlery, had dirty plates surrounding you until the staff eventually came to move them, some food to ‘use up’ was on several days running & had more comebacks than take that !! If you weren’t there at the start of the cattle stampede of meal times then you’d pretty much miss out as there wasn’t a top up of foods, when it had gone it had gone.
Moving on, there was a swimming pool right outside our room where our boys could play, swim & enjoy there summer holiday whilst we could relax poolside with a snack bar nearby, On day 5 of our holiday this all went sour when another resident decided to ‘yank our oldest boy out of the pool & throw him on the floor’ for playing in the pool – swimming- having fun with his younger brother exactly what you pay to do on a summer holiday !!
All because another guest had placed their lounger so close to the pool they got splashed when the boys went passed, our boys we’re obviously shaken & upset & thanks to 2 student girls who looked after them whilst we confronted the other guy saying how dare he assault/lay his hands on our boy, or anyone else’s child, & by the culprits face he didn’t think he’d done anything wrong, Hotel guest relations came but we’re a waste of time as they obviously wanted to keep the peace, had all of 1 min with the culprit.
As for the Regal Holiday rep this guy should be part of the Animation team cause he’s an absolute clown who thinks you should have your kids on a lead at all times, & after arguing in reception in front of about 30 guest when the hotel reception staff had already told him to shut up, started screaming out your only after compensation & I’m telling you, your not getting any ?? How insulting this was never on our agenda !!!!
Great apartment, sadly the cuisine didn’t match.
Nice but it’s been better
I am writing this from my hotel bed in the small hours…the last few hours before heading home. Our stay has been from 18-25 September ….we last stayed here 3 months ago in June. This stay has not been as nice as in June, although our apartment was 2 bed, split level, jacuzzi etc exactly the same as June we didn’t feel it was of the same standard. We had a nightmare check in at the reception were not aware of the deal we had re the all-inclusive deal via CLC…not impressed as I feel they should. It is a CLCresort, we are CLCplatinum members they should know exactly! Our room had a blind that was hanging off, the jacuzzi was full of limescale & we were bitten to death in bed by the mosquitos. We reported all the issues and although they said a maintenance man did call ?? nothing was done.
The CLC reps on site I didn’t feel were much use really and when asked about trips didn’t know! We had to ring twice and ask for cleaning to be carried out and clean bed linen but then only the beds were changed and a quick Hoover was carried out, neither bathrooms or the upstairs was touched.
The food at the oaks was lovely and the staff really helpful. The main restaurant or canteen as I call it was less so. The tables were not relaid so if you were not the first…then set it yourself! The food was OK albeit very samey each night. Nowhere near enough fresh fruit, they were always running out! Ice cream is only served 4-6 as part of the all-inclusive and only from certain snack bars…its a family hotel so I think they could do more and have ice cream available more widely and for longer if not all day.
Would I come back.? possibly yes … It really wouldn’t take much to make this a really lovely place, it’s just the little touches, open the oaks restaurant for breakfast and evening meals for the members …so many would use it! Clean more ..get the staff back ..there is obviously less staff than in June, get some decent evening entertainment on…the current is fine and has its place but decent cabarets/ shows for the adults please.oversll just very disappointing when it could so easily be so special
Nice apartments nothing Turkish, good pools and lunch, very bad not attractive dinner buffet and area.
Booked for some days to have a treat at a golf club ………..
The whole complex does not give you a hotel feeling, more a timeshare apartment compound. But the apartments are fantastic but without any Turkish feeling.
Big / block build wit all an own pool area with a bar-lunch restaurant, good food [ 6/7 lunch plate options, nice drinks.
Bar area next to the reception desk [ very friendly and helpfull desk staff ++++ ] with very bad wifi , small outside seating with heaters , big inside seating space , decent wine and beer the rest you can better buy as everywere the booze is sooooo bad quality, not really friendly staff [ most hotels have this problem because they work with young apprentices and ( i think in all-all inclusives ) very understaffed to keep people away from the free drinks bar ] outside on the poolside is also a outside bar with a nice sitting area and one adult friendly barman +++ [ little cold . maybe good plan to make some outside heating for the out of season time when you fully booked ].
The dining area inside is not bad and has a children’s “buffet” ( very limited) but the bar where you have to get yourself your drinks SMELLS horrible disgusting dirty > no service at the tables at all AND this is supposed to be a 5* . You will see that the apartment owners eat in the apartments or go to the ala carte !!!!!!!!!!!!!
The outside area (for the smokers but it is hard to find an ashtray) is not nice and full of wasps who come to all the never taken away glasses and plates > shame
The buffet: lots of salads / lots of very simple and cheap desserts / nice bread / main warm buffet: very basic and for 4 days almost the same with empty not warm dishes > even a 2* does better.
Outside grill hotplate: no love nothing WHOW, not friendly ( they know that they do a bad job > cheap stuff )
Breakfast is not bad at all , as you go outside in the q for your eggs ( take the stuffing for your omelette from inside !)
Management : please make your dining 4/5 star with some service and smile and take the bar out / make a brandnew one > double the outside cooking for fresh and good food [ wok pasta / fried grilled fish / meat from the grill / Turkish fresh baked bread ] When you upgrade the food invite me back on the end of the season and a very good review will be yours > sorry that I am so so so disappointed [ i paid for a 5*expirience !!! ] and can not recomend [ on the moment ] anybody to visit your “5*” for all inclusive holiday use.
